According to Russian Frame of Consumer's Rights, these Certificates are necessary to use for products related with public health purposes. Hygienic Certificates are mostly used as a priority for issuing of GOST Quality Certificates.

Hygienic Certificates frequently required by Russian Authorities in Russian Customs, storages of wholesalers and retail shops at domestic market.

Hygienic Certificates are based on expertise reports, issued by local official health organizations (Sanitary-Epidemiological Center), subordinated to Ministry of Health, according to Order N 314 dated March 2004 of President of RF.

 Types of Hygienic Certificates

 

Hygienic Certificates are mainly issued due to: products, service types, technical conditions of the industrial processes.

Service types and technical conditions are mostly applied for local organizations and producers, but the product Certification is very important for any foreign exporter company. Exported products should be tested under related valid regulation and Russian norms, after this confirmation they are accepted for import to Russia.

Hygienic Certificates are issued for  serial production until 5 years validation period.
